I’m Rylee Maguffin, a Colorado-based sports photographer with a love for real moments, gritty details, and good competition. If there’s a game on, I’ll probably have my camera there.

About RAM Sports

I’m Rylee Maguffin, the photographer behind RAM Sports Photography, and no, it’s not because I go to CSU. Those are actually my initials: Rylee Anne Maguffin.

I started RAM Sports in 2023 to combine two things I’ve always cared about, sports and photography. I mainly work with baseball, slow-pitch softball, and ice hockey, capturing the moments that make the game worth remembering.

A Little About Me

I’m currently studying at Colorado State University, working toward a major in Photography with a minor in Sports Management.

Before I was behind the camera, I spent over ten years playing fast-pitch softball, starting when I was four. Sports have always been a constant in my life, being able to photograph them now just feels like a natural next step.

Experience

In 2023, I started as a contract photographer for my alma mater, shooting football, baseball, basketball, volleyball, softball, and soccer. Since then, I’ve continued to build my experience, taking on an internship as lead photographer for CSU’s D2 Men’s Hockey team.

In early 2025, I had the opportunity to photograph a game for the Colorado Eagles, Colorado’s AHL team, which led to an internship offer.

Right Now

These days, I’m balancing college and photography, continuing to learn and grow with every shoot. Whether I’m at the rink, on the field, or behind my screen editing late at night, I’m doing what I love, capturing the energy, emotion, and moments that tell the story of the game.

When I’m not shooting, I’m usually watching sports or out at an empty field hitting a few balls off the tee.
